建築室內R&B

近年的音樂,R&B是公認的主流。
從歐美流行到亞洲,從日本到台灣,從台灣到韓國.......,
清一色跟隨所謂主流到了六親不認的程度,
轉音從第一句轉到最後一句,假音運用到分不清是美聲還是沒聲,
整首歌所表達的,也算主流,
越是無厘頭越深得民心,
搞的原本R&B的代表歌手,
面臨大鍋炒的無奈而非試圖轉型不可。
話說回來,這些歌真是好聽,
不得不佩服那些音樂人,
能再短時間內製作出一批同質性高又能得到掌聲的R&B音樂.......。



從某方面來說,它被量產化、商品化了,這很正常,也相當合理,
畢竟這是一個全方面商業化的年代,你我都避不開大環境的生存法則。
有誰會為與眾不同而付出孤獨甚至遭排擠的代價呢?

反觀設計,它畢竟比藝術來的商業,當然它必須遵守大環境的遊戲規則,
所以量產化是極為合理的結果,
工業設計、包裝設計、傢俱、產品、平面影像、室內設計、建築設計....。
但某些部份,它可以越界,
可以經有設計者讓它附有生命,讓它除了表象之外,
還有讓使用者去感受、體驗、互動的空間,而不只是流行。
撇開機能不談,單就表現方式來說,
討喜的建材搭配,相同的比例,好像同一個媽生的設計細節,
充斥在近年台灣的室內設計界,
就像是R&B音樂一樣,好看、流行、大家一起來!
你家和牙科診所長的設計一樣,
他的辦公室和忠孝東路的咖啡店是雙胞胎......,
在這方面,台灣已不需擔心族群的問題,
這頂好的,只是,
這些族群非吃台灣米喝台灣水,乃是歐盟結合美國日本聯合進駐台灣,
這也頂好的,台灣的國際化在這方面總算是露臉了。
以設計人自許的建築室內設計師們,該為我們的設計作品打點營養劑了。
即便是非主流R&B不可。

The Idea of R&B in Architectural and Interior

R&B has been acknowledged as the mainstream of music in recent years.
It has swept all over the world, from Europe, America to Asia, from Japan to Taiwan, from Taiwan to Korea…
Everyone follows the so-called mainstream to the extent of losing his sense.
Using vibrato from the first to the last line, and exaggerate use of head voice that you cannot tell whether it is skillful or nonsense.
What the entire song expresses is also considered as the mainstream.
The more ridiculous you are, the more popular you become.
As a result, R&B singers have no alternative but to transform.
Those songs, however, are nice.
We cannot help but to admire those musicians who are able to make a number of highly iconic and popular R&B music within a short time.



From a perspective, architectural and interior designs have been mass-produced and commodified. It is normal and reasonable; after all, this is the era of total commercialization, and nobody can escape from the rule of survival.
Who is willing to pay the price of solitude or even isolation for being unique?

Designing is more commercialized than art after all; it consequently must follow the rule of the environment.
Mass production is, therefore, a reasonable result.
Industrial design, packaging design, furniture design, product design, graphic design, interior design, architectural design, and may others are included.
However, some can break the boundary, and possess their own lives though their designs.
In addition to the appearance, they allow users to feel, experience and interact. Designs can be more than just a trend.
Looking at the presentation only despite functions, you would find the combination of popular construction materials and similar portions that make all designs identical, as if they were all created by the same designer.
This situation is like that of R&B music. Everyone follows what is nice and popular, so that everybody does the same thing together.
Your apartment may look like similar to the dental clinic around the corner and his office may be identical to the coffee shop along Zhong-Xiao East Road in Taipei.
In this aspect, it seems that there is no more conflict between different ethnic groups in Taiwan, which is nice.
However, those designs do not have a Taiwanese origin, but a representative of the alliance between the European Union with America and Japan coming to Taiwan. Which is also nice that Taiwan, at least, has shown its internationalization.
Architectural or interior designers, who considers you an artist! It’s about time that we start searching for some new sustenance, even if it is not the mainstream R&B.
