姓無名賴

這原本是我覺得還不錯的設計案......



由於工程執行預算低的離譜,導致業主在發包過程中流標多次,有個廠商更絕,先說一堆大話把工程承攬下來,一進場施工後,忽然把施工圖看清楚了,硬生生的停工,冒著吃官司的危險告知業主無法施作,免不了鬼扯蛋理由一堆,真正原因不外乎預算問題。

經業主幾番求助甚至連能用就好的話都說了,我們在預算不變的狀況下勉為其難的把工程承攬下來,但前題是設計內容由我們依預算調整,經雙方都有此共識,並執行相關確認動作後,我們硬著頭皮進場了。

我們經過預算分析後,決定把大部份預算比例運用在外觀的營造上,至於室內,勉強執行了一部份,我只能在雙腳踩進門前把雙眼戳瞎,畢竟預算真是低的離了譜。

總算是把它完成了,可笑的是驗收當日,業主忽然很業主,似乎忘了開工前自己的承諾與央求,仍然用200圓的標準來驗收實際只花了50圓的東西。頗奇妙的感覺,現代人把承諾和規則視為糞土,把自己的誠信和人格視為電梯般可高可低,就連簽了字蓋了斗大的公司章,仍免不了無賴一番。面對這種我認為難得一見的無賴現象,哈哈兩聲,一笑置之。以後或許會在台北的街頭偶遇,我仍然會很有禮貌的問候︰ 嗨!”無”先生,好久不見!最近好嗎?

I thought it was a good design …


Due to the unbelievably low budget of executing project, the tender has been postponed several times. A constructor even made empty promises in order to win the tender. However, just as he was starting the construction, he began to read the blueprints carefully and called off the construction. Taking the risk of being sued, he informed the proprietor that he can no longer undertake this case, and made so many excuses, but, the real reason was actually the budget.

After the proprietor’s sincere request and claims that it will be accepted “as long as it works”, though unwilling, we accepted this job with the same budget under the condition that we were allowed to change the design depending on budget shortfalls.  After agreeing with each other and executing all the relevant confirmations, we forced ourselves to perform a hard task.

After budget analysis, we decided to appropriate most of the budget to the exterior.  As for the interior, we barely executed some portions.  The only thing I could do is to pretend that I did not see anything of the simple construction as entering the room – the budget was really unbelievably too little.

Finally the whole construction was completed.  It was ridiculous that on the day of acceptance, the proprietor suddenly just forgot everything he promised and his supplications before beginning construction, and used his high standard of a 200-dollar budget to accept the merely 50-dollar construction.  It was just unbelievable that people nowadays did not care about their promises and standards nor did they value their word and moral integrity.  Even with his signature and the company chop on the contract, he still acted like a knave.  Facing such a rare situation, I had nothing to say but dismissed him with a laugh.  When we meet again somewhere in Taipei in the future, and I think I would still be polite and say hi to him, “Hi, ‘Mr. Bummer,’ it’s been a long time. How have you been?”
