A fatigued foreword

by Janus Huang
It is said that one man can create a world as long as one pen is given.
But the question is,what kind of world would it be?
After all, it is difficult to insist.
And the focus of the mass population is vague.。

Engaged in designing for many years, this foreword was written as having my portfolios sorted. Once recalled occasionally, it considerably makes me think over and over. As a matter of fact, when deliberating silently, we, who praise ourselves as creative elites, are barely thieves of creativity. The ones, who are imitated by the inferior, are imitating the superior. Perhaps many sorts of ideas can be carried out by one pen, like ships, planes, love and even benevolence. But probably the original and creative ones are just a few, and at the maximum could merely be called evolution. The most anxious thing is that people can never differentiate between the truth and what is fake. People who believe in composite pictures can be as resolute as to lose their money and lives. The ones, organized to positively define the national territory as whatever they want, can be so brave as to burn themselves. We can hardly see any efforts to create or improve our environment, there are just those below following the example of those above. And it happens that everyone has one pen in hand.

Thinking is the real truth

Aggressive development in inland cities, frenzied labor accumulation, and unexpected movements are rapidly proceeded from Zhuhai, Chang-an, Xiamen, to Beijing in China. Just as in the 80's in Taiwan, when people found out the convenience of disposable tableware, there's no need for them to think about the relation between human beings and the environment. Funny, the above are all created by one pen as well. For example, the audio with powerful sound and echo shaking the sky is regarded as fever; table wine is misunderstood as punch to be tasted. These creatures made from marked surveys were thanks to those who probably never deliberate the meanings behind and rights or duties given to us by Nature. It's not hard to illusionally expound the theory of design, or to quote from famous remarks of those passed-away masters. Even Giong Yao (a famous Taiwanese novelist) could make it if some professional vocabulary is given. But unfortunately, I think, it might be hard for the population and creators to seriously explore and realize what it is all about, even R'ene Descartes shouts himself hoarse.
